I enjoy reading about Iceland: both personal anecdotes as well as essays discussing current events. My "Recent Visitors" spot always surprises me with the amazingly varied places in the world that my readers hail from...which led me to conclude that surely some of my readers might feel the same interest in hearing about current events here in the U.S. from the perspective of "everyman."
Penny Found is written by a friend of mine who has devoted a lot of time to thinking, reading and writing about issues that concern him. I hope you'll find Jay Morehouse's essays an interesting window into life here. His blog is one that could easily become a great forum for the exchange of ideas, if readers comment.
