To toast our new President, Barack Obama, and wish him Godspeed. I am honored to report that he stopped by Gotham Road during his round of Inaugural Balls so that we could celebrate together.
Peter was the only family member to attend the Inauguration in person. But we were there in spirit. In fact, I even learned to text message just so I could journey along. Pete arrived before dawn, and reports that the best place to view an inauguration is from a tree.

hmmm...I'll have to think about that one, Jon. In this particular case, the young man in question was invited down--by someone in a uniform. So I'm thinking that maybe the view could have been better...
Obama doesn't look as tall in your living room as he did on the campaign trail. Curious.
